Donating to the ReStore

Thank you for your interest in donating to the Habitat Heartland Ontario ReStore - the store that builds homes.

We accept donations of furniture, appliances, lighting, décor, building materials, tools, electronics and more* (see a comprehensive list of acceptable and unacceptable items). If in doubt, please contact your local Heartland ReStore by phone or email.

Dropping-off Donations:
Donations are accepted during our opening hours — Check your local ReStore for hours of operation. Our ReStores would appreciate a phone call in advance to confirm whether your donation can be accepted*. Upon request, our ReStores will provide a charitable tax receipt for accepted donations.

We have eight ReStore locations in SW Ontario — three in London, and also in: Brantford, Woodstock, Stratford, St. Thomas, and Simcoe. 

Scheduling a Pick-up:
For larger-sized donations of furniture or cabinet sets, etc. we offer donations pick-up. Please complete and submit a pick-up request form (attach a photo of each item), and someone from our team will contact you to review your donation and to schedule a pick-up. Please note that donation items must be placed outside of your home on the porch or in the driveway prior to the scheduled pick-up (our drivers are not permitted to enter your home). For apartment locations, we can pick-up from the ground floor lobby or loading area. Upon request, our drivers will provide a charitable tax receipt for accepted donations.

*Unfortunately, we may not be able to accept certain items due to age, condition, storage space and marketability.

Donate and Save:
Now when you donate to the ReStore you should receive a coupon to save the next time you shop. Save 15% off when you spend $50 or more, and Save $2 off when you spend $15 or more. One coupon per purchase, per customer. Cannot be combined with other discounts. Expires December 31, 2024.
